THE STORY
When Margot Del Rey became a mother for the first time, everything shifted. Her son was born by Cesarean - an experience that left her tender and changed in ways she couldn’t yet name. In the quiet days that followed, between nursing and rebuilding, she began searching for softness. For women who spoke the same language of care, for spaces that honored the unseen work of becoming.
Out of that need, SISTERHOOD was born. It began in her living room with yoga circles and cups of tea cooling beside newborns asleep on chests. Conversations that meandered between tears and laughter. Simple, human moments that reminded every woman there that motherhood wasn’t meant to be endured, but shared.
Years passed. Margot studied, taught, listened. Her work deepened, shaped by the stories and resilience of other women. When her daughter was born years later - a healing VBAC that arrived gently, surrounded by trust - it felt as though Sisterhood itself was reborn.
After a year in New York, Margot returned to Los Angeles with a clear vision: to make doula care feel like room service for the soul - blending her roots in high luxury fashion with a devotion to slow, intentional care.
Today, SISTERHOOD exists as both practice and philosophy - a sanctuary where birth, recovery, and ritual intersect. A place that reminds mothers they are allowed to be cared for, to rest, and to feel beautifully human again.
